Ecozone Roomburg, 42 Patio-houses Leiden



The houses are situated along the ecological zone in the development plan of Roomburg. The intention is to develop Roomburg into a sustainable residential area. The main themes for the houses along the ecozone are 'energy', 'green', 'the indoor environment' and 'flexible and adjustable living'.

The block of houses on the south side of the ecozone connects directly to the to be developed buildings to the south and forms the border of the Ecozone. The houses on the north side are bordered by vegetation on both sides (being the ecozone on the south in combination with the existing watercourse and the Besjeslaan with existing vegetation on the north side). These houses can be considered to be directly situatied in the ecozone.
