A competition swimming pool, a recreation pool and a sport hall are the basic elements for the sport and recreation centre Wasbeek. The design is an extension on the existing sports hall with outdoor bassin.

The face-lift of the buildings means also that the building have had an energy-efficient renovation. New R-values are approx. 4.5 si. Solar thermal collectors for preheating the indoor air and co-generation are some of the new features.

A new Masterplan is recently finished. The new plans are to extend the buildings further in future.
